I'd forgotten just how good Wakefield wonder brothers Ryan, Gary and Ross Jarman, The Cribs classic Our Bovine Public was until I watched Ryan's appearance on Nevermind The Buzzcocks from a while back, compelling me to seek out this indie gold from my teen years. The song has a special meaning as it's the first one I listened to after powering my way through the seemingly endless hell that was my driving lessons. Hours of kangarooing away from junctions as opposed to stalling and just being grateful to be in motion, searching for the non-existent biting point and just generally being aware of how much of a danger I was on the road suddenly seemed worthwhile thanks to the dulcet tones of Ryan and family. Look how good the video is, a throw back to a time where it was us indie kids who wore the tight v-neck tees before they were cruelly taken from us by Geordie Shore buff boys. As an aside, BRING BACK AMSTELL -
